Easy Travels Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Easy Travels processes, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to the website easytravels.app, the application app.easytravels.app, and the public quote pages that travel agencies share with their clients. The Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Who we are
Easy Travels is a service of Curellich Jonathan Gaston (SailCode), located at Baez 637, piso 3, depto. 26, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Contact: soporte@easytravels.app.
Easy Travels is a tool for travel agencies. Agencies use it to build travel quotes, share them with their clients through a link, receive the clients’ answers and, when the agency enables it, handle its WhatsApp and Instagram conversations.
2. Our role: controller and processor
- Data about each agency’s clients (people an agency quotes a trip to, or who message the agency on WhatsApp or Instagram): the agency is the controller and decides how the data is used. Easy Travels processes it on the agency’s behalf, as a processor, only to provide the service and following the agency’s instructions, as set out in article 25 of Argentine Law 25,326. We do not use this data for our own purposes, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with other agencies.
- Data about agency users (the people who sign in to the application) and about anyone who writes to our support address: Easy Travels is the controller.
If you are an agency’s client and want to know how the agency uses your data, contact the agency first. Its name and contact details appear on the quote it sent you.
3. Data we process
Agency users
- Name, email, role, and the agency they belong to.
- Password. It is stored by our authentication provider (Amazon Cognito); Easy Travels never sees it.
- Technical access records: date and IP address.
Agency clients (entered by the agency or received through its channels)
- First name, last name, mobile number and/or email.
- Details of the quoted trip: destination, dates, number of travelers, services, and prices.
- The answers the client gives on the public quote page (accept, decline, request changes) and any text they write.
- Messaging, only if the agency connects its WhatsApp or Instagram: profile name, phone number or Instagram username, the messages exchanged with the agency, and attachments (photos, audio, documents).
Agency content
- Details, logo, texts, and images the agency uploads to its account.
People who contact support
- Their email address and the content of their message.
What we do not process
- We do not ask for sensitive data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.), and we ask agencies not to enter it.
- We use no analytics and no third-party cookies. The application uses only its own session cookie, which is needed to keep you signed in. The public website and the quote pages use no cookies.
4. How we use the data
- To provide the service to the agency: create and publish quotes, show them to the client, record the client’s answers, notify the agent, and receive and send messages on connected channels.
- To manage agency user accounts and permissions.
- To send service emails: invitations, password recovery, answer notifications, and quotes an agent chooses to send.
- For security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- To answer support requests.
We do not use the data for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
5. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the service, who act on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (Amazon EC2, S3, Cognito, SES) | Hosting the application and database, file storage, authentication, and email delivery | United States (us-east-1 region) |
| Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram) | Receiving and sending messages, only if the agency connects its channels | As set out in Meta’s terms |
| Cloudflare | Domain name resolution (DNS) and delivery of the public website | Global |
| Apple (iCloud Mail) | Support mailbox | As set out in Apple’s terms |
When an agency connects its WhatsApp or Instagram, the messages are also subject to Meta’s policies, and the agency keeps its own copy in its accounts. Outside these cases, we share data only when required by law or by a competent authority.
6. International transfers
Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. Argentina’s data protection authority does not consider the United States to have adequate legislation, so the transfer relies on the contractual safeguards the provider offers its customers (the AWS Data Processing Addendum, which includes standard contractual clauses), under article 12 of Law 25,326. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública accepts this kind of safeguard and has approved model contractual clauses for these transfers (Disposición 60/2016 and Resolución 198/2023).
7. How long we keep the data
- Agency and client data (quotes, clients, images, messages): for as long as the agency’s account is active.
- Messaging attachments: 12 months from receipt. After that the file is deleted and the conversation shows “attachment expired”.
- Agency account closure: the account stays suspended for 30 days and can be reactivated with nothing lost. On day 31, all of its data is deleted: users, clients, quotes, images, and messaging.
- Backups: rotated within a maximum of 30 days, so deleted data also disappears from them within that period.
- Technical access records: 90 days.
- Support messages: up to 12 months after the request is resolved.
8. Security
All connections are encrypted with HTTPS. Files are kept in private, encrypted storage. Access to data is limited to what is needed to run the service. Each agency sees only its own data, and the platform operator cannot see the content of quotes or conversations.
9. Your rights
Under Argentine Law 25,326, you have the right to access your data and to request its rectification, update, or deletion (arts. 14 and 16).
The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as set out in article 14, section 3 of Law No. 25,326.
How to exercise them
- If you are an agency’s client: ask the agency, which is the controller. If you cannot reach the agency, or it no longer uses Easy Travels, write to soporte@easytravels.app. See also Data Deletion.
- If you are an agency user, or you wrote to our support address: write to soporte@easytravels.app from your registered address.
Where Easy Travels is the controller, we handle rectification, update, and deletion requests within five business days, as required by article 16 of Law 25,326. Where the request concerns an agency’s data, we forward it to the agency and help it comply.
The AGENCIA DE ACCESO A LA INFORMACIÓN PÚBLICA, supervisory authority under Law No. 25,326, has the power to handle complaints and claims filed in connection with breaches of personal data protection rules.
10. Minors
Easy Travels is designed for travel agencies, and its users are adults. A quote may include the number of minors traveling in a family group; the agency is responsible for entering only the data it needs.
11. Terms of Service
Agencies’ use of Easy Travels is governed by the Terms of Service, which include the conditions under which Easy Travels processes data on each agency’s behalf.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is significant, we email agencies before it takes effect.
